PURPOSE
From its inception in 2006, CrossTown has been unwavering in its purpose: We are a Boston-based congregation proclaiming the kingship of Christ and changing lives by the transforming power of the Cross!
Our Vision: What we see
CrossTown’s vision is to build an early church revival culture by growing a vibrant 21st century Jesus movement that calls out a worshiping community to become a prophetic, priestly and kingly people who are activated into a lifestyle of ministry service through evangelism, apostleship, prophecy, pastoral and teaching gifts, from the Dudley Street neighborhood to the six urban centers of Crosstown, to reform neighborhoods from New England to the nations.
Our Mission: What we do
CrossTown Church International is a core city congregation and an emerging apostolic epicenter raised by the transforming power of the Cross to faithfully discharge the mission of Christ that by the Holy Spirit’s anointing calls, cultivates, and commissions revolutionary disciples to reproduce the kingdom ideal, lifestyle and culture in families, communities, and government.
What is an Apostolic Epicenter?
The Bible employs many metaphors for the local church: “family of God”, “household of faith”, “people of God”, etc. We embrace all of these but hold as our overriding narrative our mission of being an apostolic epicenter as our way of raising our ambassadorial mandate to the forefront of our purpose. We are becoming a focal point for personal and regional revival and reformation. CrossTown Church International, therefore, is an embassy of God, an ambassadorial outpost, establishing a Christ-centered community rich in impact locally with expanding spiritual influence throughout the region into the nations, thereby bringing the power of the gospel of the kingdom of God into all spheres of society.
